Giro Donne: Niedermaier holds off Van Vleuten to win dramatic stage 5


Antonia Niedermaier (Canyon-SRAM) gained stage 5 of the Giro d’Italia Donne with a 24-kilometre solo, narrowly holding off maglia rosa Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar Staff) to take the largest victory of her profession.
