Loris Rouiller wins C1 males’s race at GO Cross to open US Cyclocross Collection



Loris Rouiller (Heizomat-Kloster Kitchen) gained the C1 elite males’s contest at Virginia’s Blue Ridge GO Cross in a three-rider dash to the road in Roanoke, Virginia. Anton Ferdinande (DHM) completed second and Andrew Strohmeyer (CXD-Trek Bikes) settled for third. 

The conflict of the highest contenders to start the US Cyclocross Collection (USCX) light away as males’s defending sequence champion Curtis White (Steve Tilford Basis Racing) couldn’t match the tempo of the youthful trio on the rolling course and completed seven seconds behind for fourth place. Vincent Baestaens (Spits CX season), who gained 5 USCX races final season, completed fifth, 28 seconds behind White, who made his first look within the stars-and-stripes jersey.
