Tour de l’Avenir Femmes: Shirin van Anrooij wins stage 5 and takes total title



Shirin van Anrooij (Netherlands) soloed to victory on the mountainous stage 5 and captured the general title on the ultimate day of racing on the Tour de l’Avenir Femmes.

Anna Shackley (Nice Britain) crossed the end line 2:20 again for second and Petra Stiasny Switzerland) was third, one other 1:11 off the profitable tempo. Thursday’s stage winner Gaia Realini (Italy) was solely 5 seconds behind Stiasny and secured fourth place.
